Funhouse Issue

Post by Ecaello »

I recently purchased the Adafruit Funhouse Home automation board after a recent use with the product for a university physics experiment. Unfortunately, after receiving the board, I can't get the board to be visible to a computer. After some research, I decided to attempt a fix for if I was attempting to use a charge only cable. I purchased a cable from Amazon, and the board is still not visible to my computer. I have attempted to use two different computers, as well as testing the cable with my phone (uses the same port), with both computers on the same usb port, and my phone is visible.

What does the board do when you power it?

The screen doesn't do anything, but the green led turns on whenever the board is connected to a computer.

OK. If the green light is on the board is getting power. Does pressing reset do anything? Will it go into boot mode? Read through https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-funhouse, if you haven't, for more information.

Also make sure that you've done the board installation: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-fun ... -ide-setup
