I have around six Adafruit LoRa modules. They are great with a range of over 2km. I am revisiting a project after several months. Now I want to identify which are 433 or 868mhz modules. I kept them in different boxes - but some might have got mixed up.
Is there any physical marking that differentiates between the two modules?

Kind regards.

https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-rfm ... ts/pinoutsIf there's a green or blue dot on top of the module, its 900 MHz. If there's a red dot, its 433 MHz

The green, blue, or red dots would be visible without the metal covers (as per my links). I'm not inclined to prise off the covers.

No guarantee this differentiates them but the numbers are different on the product pages. They could just be week of the year and year manufactured too. If you bought them two at a time and they came from the same batch that might actually help you. I couldn’t find any obvious differences in pcb or silkscreen. They’re pretty much identical. Only sure way to know is to set them up and see if they can connect or get frisky and take a look under the hood.
