MiniBoost 5V @ 100mA - is 3V input absolute?

Post by bricoyle »

Need booster from 2.4V battery to 3.7V LED. MiniBoost uses 3V to output 5V (or less). What about <3V?
Thanks.

We have 2 versions of the MiniBoost. The AP3602A version is a charge-pump design which is low-cost, but not super flexible or efficient. It needs at least 2.7v for stable operation.

The TPS61023 version will work with inputs as low as 1.8v: https://www.adafruit.com/product/4654
