Can’t find board for Adafruit Metro 328

Did you install the Adafruit boards also? You should also make sure the boards and libraries are up to date.

Which tutorial are you following? The Metro M0 Express, M4, and ESP32-S2 can run CircuitPython, but not the Metro 328, that chip isn't powerful enough.

The Adafruit METRO is an Arduino Uno equivalent board designed with a few extra features to improve upon the original Uno. We sure love the ATmega328, and we use it a lot for our own projects. The processor has plenty of GPIO, analog inputs, hardware UART, SPI and I2C, timers, and PWM galore.
