hmm - we'll add a note to the documentation - the current revision should be drop-in replacement for previous. is it not working for you?

Haven't tried it yet, something to do at thr weekend. Wondered if I could control the mute function from within PiCorePlayer to get rid of the pops.

It works. If I was to cut the track to the 3V side and bridge the GPIO4 side, I should be able to use this option in Squeezelite:
-G <Rpi GPIO#>:<H/L>
Specify the BCM GPIO# to use for Amp Power Relay and if the output should be Active High or Low.
