Max current on the power rail of protoboard PCb

Post by martian »

I have one of these Adafruit Perma-Proto Half-sized Breadboard PCB and am wondering how much current ( at 5V) is safe to carry on the power rails?

https://www.adafruit.com/product/1609. This is for a neopixel project with lots of pixels.

I usually try to keep it under 2A. If I need more than that, I solder some wire to run in parallel to the trace.
