Solderless clips for 144-NeoPixel strips
I have a student who wants to connect two 144-NeoPixel strips together. I suggested using solderless clips; he is willing to have a small gap in the connection rather than try to solder the two strips to get a gapless connection. However, finding a 3-pin solderless connector for the wider strip has not produced any result. Can you recommend a source, or even better, stock some of these connectors? For that matter, if a 10mm 3-pin connector works, we can trim the end down by whacking a mm or so off each side. Suggestions?

Wow.. I'm afraid we don't know of anything.
The closest thing to a NeoPixel strip is a flex cable, and the standard for flex cables is just a set of exposed traces at the end. There really aren't any cable-to-cable connectors.
You might be able to adapt some kind of board-edge connector, but most of those are designed to be soldered to a PCB on the other side, and tend to be bulky.
