Linux and CircuitPython, working now at my end.

Post by BrianLinuxing »

Following on from my previous post.

viewtopic.php?t=194616&hilit=CircuitPyt ... gotchas%3F

I am happy to report after many of my own mis-steps that I now have a new freshly built CircuitPython for Linux

A few annoying gotchas (found by trawling GitHub, forum discussions, and doing nearly *all* permutations related to them).

Was built on a clean Linux VM install of Sparky Linux (essentially a small version of Debian testing) to ensure any missing packages would be flagged up, etc

I shall aim to document the process when I have my new blog up and running.

[It says MicroPython on the title header, but was built purely on the CircuitPython code base]
