Hi there,
I am a complete novice here, so I am probably doing something completely obviously wrong!!
I have a new feather M4 Express. I struggled to get it to show up as a drive on my windows 10 laptop, but with some cable and usb port trial and error I can now get the FEATHERBOOT drive to appear in Windows Explorer.
It has the CURRENT.UF2, INDEX and INFO_UF2 files. but not the CIRCUITPY UF2 file.
I downloaded the current CircuitPython file from the CP website. Now whenever I try to copy it to the FEATHERBOOT drive, I get an error at 25% saying the copy has failed because the drive is no longer accessible. The FEATHERBOOT drive has gone from the Explorer and the lights change on the actual board.
I can then reset the board and the drive appears again in Explorer.
Any advice on what I can try here?!
Feather M4 drive disappears when copying files

Re: Feather M4 drive disappears when copying files
Don't worry about what's on FEATHERBOOT. It's your access point to the bootloader, a target for copying UF2 files.
Do you have the correct build of CircuitPython? The one for the Feather M4 Express? From https://circuitpython.org/board/feather_m4_express/.
