Hi I am an educator that is looking to maybe start using Metro running python for teaching.
The reason that I looked at the metro is because it is the same form factor as old school Ardunio UNO so all the shields made for Ardunio UNO will fit on to the metro. I am particularly looking at using the Seed studios grove boards as it makes for easy plug and play of many sensors for kids. I make the assumption that this shield will source voltage from 5v pin so all the sensors will return 5v to the GPIO pin.
My question is "does the metro have 5v to 3.3v level shifting on pins or are they 5v tolerent?"
5v inputs from shield

Re: 5v inputs from shield
The GPIO on those boards is not 5v tolerant. But it looks like your Grove board has a selector switch for 3.3v vs 5v operation for VCC. (lower left of board in photo)

Thanks for the reply.
I feel silly now that I didn't notice that the grove board has a switch for 5v to 3.3v :(
