Google assistant with voice bonnet

I am using adafruit voice bonnet with a raspberry pi zero w. I am unable to generate authorization token
by following this guide.https://learn.adafruit.com/using-google ... vice-setup. I suppose that is because google "oauth out-of-band" flow is now depreciated. Is there an updated guide to have google assistant working on a raspberry pi?

Do you have the client_secret.json file in your home directory?

Can you show the command being executed, that the file is in place and the error output. I of course do not want you to post he contents of the secrets file.

Thank you for the photos as always they help quite a bit.

You need to be running Lite version of Raspberry Pi OS for Google Voice.

Make sure you are using the Lite version of Raspberry Pi OS. The desktop version has had some issues with Google Voice and the audio driver.

No. I am running Pi OS bullseye lite. I am using my laptop to ssh into the pi. I then copy the URL and open in browser on laptop.

Thank you for your patience and I see what you mean.
I setup a fresh Pi4 Bullseye Lite install with full updates and go pretty much the same error. I was also very careful to complete each step in the Google Setup and Device Setup pages of the Adafruit Google Assistant guide.

I'll ask the guide author to have a look.

The guide maintainer took a look at this issue. Currently a significant Google infrastructure change is suspected so this will mean some substantial changes to the Adafruit guide need to be made before Google Assist will be usable again. It is on the list.
