I am buying the PCA9548 I2C multiplexer https://www.adafruit.com/product/5626 and read the guide. I am a bit confused about the Vin / logic level shifting that is included on the board. It will be connected to a QT Py RP2040 (3.3V logic) via its Stemma QT port and I want to hook up multiple haptic drivers (Adafruit DRV2605L https://www.adafruit.com/product/2305) to it. Now the issue I have is that the motors connected to the haptic drivers take quite a bit of power and I don't want it to all go through that one QT Py connection.
So how do I supply "sufficient" external power to it all? Is the Vin on the PCA9548 the right way (i.e. connect 5V, 4A power supply to it?)?

Re: PCA9548 external power (Vin)
That should work. With VCCIO set to 5v, 5v power will be routed to the V+ pins on each of the multiplexed STEMMA channels. And the logic levels will be 5v also.
The logic levels on the master side of the multiplexer are set by the V+ voltage level on the master STEMMA port. (3.3v for an RP2040)

Thank you! I will give that a try then.
