mini 2-axis analog thumbstick troubles

Post by breadboi »

I am having troubles with this idea of mine using some mini 2-axis analog thumbsticks, on a PS4 controller. It seems the directions are different than what is being read by the motherboard. I don't know how to fix this issue, or if it is even fixable.

The directions are related to the way you wire the connections. Try swapping the connections and testing each axis to make sure you're getting the results you expect.

well I can only connect the pins in one orientation, so I can't really wire it wrong or anything.

Post a photo showing your hardware and connections and we'll take a look. 800x600 images usually work best.

Well I figured out how to get it, but now for some reason both of the analog sticks are reading that they are continuously going up. I don't know if it's the analog sticks or the controller motherboard.
