Plastic Translucent Enclosure Product ID: 4490 NOT compatible with Metro 328 Boards

Post by RAD_BCIT »

I've purchased a class set of these enclosures, plus Metro boards. Now that the boards are mounted in the case, I find I cannot plug in a micro USB cable. The board and USB connector sit low in the case and the bottom of the square USB connector entry point in the case blocks me from inserting the end of the USB cable.
Is there any fix for this other than getting out tools and
Case interfering with insertion of USB cable

removing plastic from the case to enlarge the hole?

These look to be designed for the UNO with its USB-B connector, judging by the size of the opening. I would try using washers between the board and mounting studs to raise it a bit. You might need longer screws for that to work.
