Heatsink for 70mm led ring bulb prodduct#5138
Hi, I was seeing if anyone can help me find the right size Heatsink to cool the bulb down. I’m totally new to this stuff. When the light is on after a couple minutes it looks like a bit a smoke is happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could purchase some thermal tape and use a chunk of metal (steel, aluminum, whatever you have).

Adafruit does sell some heat sinks, but most of them are chip sized.

You can also use PWM or lower voltage with a diode to run the light cooler.

Depending on the application, these would typically be attached to an aluminum plate or ring with a thermal adhesive. You can find aluminum disks and rings of various sizes on Etsy.
We do have one that comes pre-attached to a ring here: https://www.adafruit.com/product/4433
