To whom it may concern,
I'm having an issue with the MCP4725 I2C module outputting a constant 2.5V when its first powered on. I noticed the output changes linearly as I turn the voltage up/down. I checked the soldering of the pins and there not an issue. The module comes with internal pull up resistors on the data lines (SDA, SCL) so that shouldn't be an issue either. I've tried 3 different modules at this point, and all have the same issue. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thank you,
Frustrated Engineer

What voltage are you powering it with?I'm having an issue with the MCP4725 I2C module outputting a constant 2.5V when its first powered on.

With VDD = 5v, 2.5v is 1/2 of full-scale. That is the expected output at power-up using the default factory configuration for the chip. Please see section 5.4 of the datasheet:
