Hi,
after a year I got back to working with the Trinkey, but things have changed, at least as I'm using a Mac M1 Pro now. I tried to install the Arduino SAMD boards, but they can't be installed using the Arduino IDE. With a manual install I get "bad CPU type" as a result, I guess the boards are not updated to work with the M1 Pro yet?
Am I wrong, is there a workaround? Any ideas? Thanks!
Hans

Which version of the Arduino IDE are you using? What version of MacOS?
I believe the M1 builds showed up in the 2.0.1 Arduino IDE snapshots.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I do not know which part solved it, but I updated everything and one them them has done the trick. Eventually it worked. Thanks!

Yeah, you definitely need to be on the newer Ardiuno IDE and libraries for M1 Pro support. I think support was added starting in the Spring of 2022. Glad you are up and running.
