Led lights on sensors
Watching whippersnapper evolve has been epic. The latest update won’t the ability to turn of the led is what I have been looking for for months. Is there a possibility that option will come out for the sensors as well? This makes it perfect for environments where a small light leak could be catastrophic

Re: Led lights on sensors
Yeah. But the power LEDs are actually essential. Without those, it will be difficult to find out if the sensor is working or not. However, an option for turning them off will be helpful for many light-sensitive applications. Till then, black tape will be the last resort.

You mean the power LEDs on the Stemma breakouts sold by Adafruit? Those are independent of the development board, they're not controllable from WipperSnapper even if we tried. You could try black electrical tape, or black nail polish for a more permanent solution. Is there a possibility that option will come out for the sensors as well?
