Bought a Macropad in late Dec 2021, noticed recently that the display is now ghosting when I change pages. Did some code updates, no change. Physically inspected the hardware, reseated the display connection, and nothing obvious looks wrong or damaged.
Do I have a failing display or is a bug I need to hunt down?

It looks like OLED burn in. Has the display been on since you purchased it?

Ahhhh yes that would do it. So I suspect I need a new display or is there a sneaky way to correct this?mikeysklar wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 6:50 pm It looks like OLED burn in. Has the display been on since you purchased it?

For others that might encounter this problem, a new display "fixed" the issue. Getting the display off is easily done with something like a guitar pick or thin piece of plastic.

Thank you for the tip on getting the display off easily. I'm a big fan of the NYC metro cards for "prying" delicate electronics and opening plastic enclosures. Much like your guitar pick just longer.
