Difference between 'Rugged Metal Button' pushbutton or momentary?
Product 'Rugged Metal Button 19mm RGB' has been specified as a doorbell with an occupancy sensor. Ex: if the room is set as 'do not disturb,' the ring around the button is to display as red and if the room is set as 'vacant,' the ring is to display as green. Which button would function better as a doorbell? Either 'Rugged Metal On/Off Switch - 19mm 6V RGB On/Off Product ID: 3426' or 'Rugged Metal Pushbutton - 19mm 6V RGB Momentary Product ID: 3425'? What is the difference between the pushbutton and the momentary? Thank you.

An on/of switch requires one push to turn on and another push to turn off. A momentary switch only makes contact for as long as you press it. For a doorbell application, you would typically use a momentary switch.
