Raspberry Pi 4B Doesn't Boot

Post by talmax »

Hello, so I got this raspberry pi 4B from you today When I installed raspberry pi os, and inserted the sd card and turned it on, there is no display. I tried changing the config file but still nothing. Any tips to make it show. I only see the red light. I believe I have a damaged board. It does not boot. I've tried all troubleshooting steps.

Did you try getting the Pi to boot before adding the fan and heat sinks?

If the Pi did not boot prior to attaching the fan and heat sinks, why were they then added?

I would just like a replacemment.

As support, if an item isn't working it should be refunded or replaced as per adafruit policy.

If you could send me an email for the replacement even better.

In general, anything attached to a Pi's GPIO pins is considered warranty voiding:

If you disconnect the fan and try this check:

what behavior do you see?

Hello, it just flashed green one time for a millisecond and it disappears. Doesn't do anything else. I initially tried powering it on without any accessories like mentioned before. It just stays at Red. So, it wasn't cause of the fan.

I would really like to not have any more complications, and ask for a replacement.

I tried every troubleshooting step, and no progress. I've tried it without the case, with the case, with the SD Card, Without the SD Card. I even tried with a different SD Card, and a different power supply, and so, really all I need is a replcement to have a functional raspberry pi.

If this is something that is not possible. I would like to elevate the case, because it is not users fault rather raspberries / the vendor.

Replacements are not possible due to inventory shortages. We can only offer a refund.

Send an email to [email protected] with a link to this thread and your order number and they can refund you for the Pi.
