Noods 130mm led filament
Hello, I am trying to get my 130mm led filament to work with an led controller with rf remote control but not having any luck. Super new to all this so im not sure what I am doing wrong or if this can even be possible. I am trying to have the led filament wirelessly inside of a coaster without an on and off button just using the remote controller. This led controller has 2 positives on one side and 2 on the other and obviously the filament only has a positive on one side and negative on the other. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

This is what i got from amazon. The lights work, i tested them on a 3v battery. I just cant seem to get them to work on this . I only connected them with wire connectors to make sure they worked before soldering them together.

Looks like it is designed for a 5-24V input. But it is not clear what voltage or current will be delivered to the LED at the other end.
A link to the manufacturer's documentation for the device would be helpful.

Re: Noods 130mm led filament
Not much actual technical detail there. Nothing at all about the output voltage or current. Most likely the output voltage is the same as the input voltage and brightness controlled via PWM.
The input end is marked 5v-24v. So you would need at least a 5v power source. And the output is likely not directly compatible with the 3v Noods. You might be able to power it with 6v to drive 2 Noods wired in series. But that is only a guess. The manufacturer might be able to give you more specific advice.

Ok I will ask them and see what they say. Thank you soo much for your help! If this doesn't work would the micro lipo charger with usbc and 3.7v 350mAh work with a mini on/ off push button work for the noods? Im trying to put together something that is very small that can be used long term.

That battery should last ~7 hours according to https://www.digikey.ca/en/resources/con ... ttery-life. You'll also need a ~27 ohm resistor to drop the excess voltage to get 3v for the nood.

Sorry i now see the d+ d- which i would assume is where i could connect the noods but how would i connect the on off button? Either the mini on off push button switch or the 10 pack mini on off button with the 4 prongs.

Re: Noods 130mm led filament
You need everythign in series:
+ on the battery to + on the nood
- on the nood to one end of the limiting resistor
other end of the resistor to one side of the switch
other side of the switch to - of the battery
You want a loop so current can flow out of the battery, through the circuit, and back to the battery. The switch interrupts that flow to turn things "off".
