Alternative Formaldhyde sensor for Feather

Post by blackcat67 »

Good Afternoon all,

I am asking the hive mind if it knows of an HCHO (Formaldehyde) sensor that I can attach to my Feather (https://www.adafruit.com/product/5300).

Currently, I use the robust DFRobot molybdenum-based HCHO sensor (https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1574.html), but it also detects isopropyl alcohol and masks any HCHO readings. Since things kept in HCHO tend to be cleaned with isopropyl in a university setting, I really need an alternative to tell me just HCHO ppm concentrations.

Does anyone have an alternative that can distinguish between HCHO and isopropyl alcohol I can use with my Feather?

Thanks
Matt
