Is there a 'hat' that brings esp32 to RPi's

Post by lazloman »

I have a collection RPi's, three 4's and one 3. I'd like to start using using Espresence on Home Assistant, but don't want to replace my Pi's. Is there a 'hat', that will do that?
Thanks

No hat for Espresence. That really is an ESP32 thing.

There are quite a few Adafruit guides for using Home Assistant. Including how to set it up on a Pi.

One not particularly efficient option would be to plug an ESP32 based board into your Pi. Not quite a hat, but it would give you an option to use your Pi and Espresence on Home Assistant.

Thanks for the reply. I actually use HA with huzzah32's for room presence. I was just curious as to whether such a thing existed.
