RF M4 Receiver Momentary Type Question
I'm looking for a 315MHz receiver like this one, but it needs to be compatible with a HomeLink garage door remote. Does anyone know if the M4 will work with HomeLink? My garage door opener is 315MHz, and it works with HomeLink. I understand the M4 only has 8 "DIP switches" (actually solder points) but my garage door opener has 12. Thanks for any help or info.

Re: RF M4 Receiver Momentary Type Question
The M4 receiver is based on the Princeton Technology PT2272 chip. There are versions of this chip that support as many as 12 address pins.
I don't see anything in the HomeLink literature detailing what they use. Other than experimentation, your best bet is to ask HomeLink if their product is compatible with the PT2272.
