Looking for compact alternatives or expansion options for adafruit nRF52832 and feather wings

Post by tfraley »

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. We've been utilizing adafruit nRF52832 and feather wings and have been quite content with their performance.

However, we're wondering if there's a comparable alternative that requires only 10 GPIO's for switch usage or a way to expand our current setup. We're aiming to maintain a compact design, so any suggestions on minimizing the size would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The most likely candidate would be the nRF52840 ItsyBitsy:

It's another BLE device from the same family as the nRF52832, but would require new software.
