I am setting up a Pico W to use IO. When starting with a factory fresh Pico, I can get to Step 6. When I unplug to reset the device goes into a continuous loop of connecting and disconnecting as a drive.
I have checked the secrets.json, and noted that all of my settings, including io username and key to be correct (case, spelling, correct key, etc...).
I also note that when starting over by going back into BOOTSEL and pushing the wipper uf2 back onto the Pico, the reboot/disconnect loop starts after the uf2 is dragged onto the board, and the first reboot happens.
Thanks in advance for any advice or workarounds.

Which version of Adafruit IO Wippersnapper are you using?

I used the 1.0.0_beta-61.uf2 from the Adafruit Wippersnapper page.

Hello. I know this is an older post, but has anyone come up with a solution for this? I'm having the same issue. Thanks for your time.

Hi Catsci, I've been unable to replicate this issue.
First, could you please check if the secrets.json file on the WIPPER drive contains the correct Adafruit IO Username, Adafruit IO Key, WiFi SSID, and WiFi Password?
Then, before the device restarts, could you please copy and paste the contents of wipper_boot_out.txt from the Wipper drive?

Re: Pico W Install Issues (Goes into reboot loop)
Hi - we have just released WipperSnapper beta 74. This includes PR #514 which addresses issues with the Pico W infinite reboot loop issue caused by WiFi failing to connect.
Please give this a try and let me know if you are still experiencing issues.
