Powering QT PY with pads

Post by Calou »

Hello,
I want to powering a Qt Py ESP32-C3 with LiPo battery. I saw that pads on the other side of the board accept up to 6V on the documentation but it seems that it doesn't work below 4.2V. In documentation of the Qt Py ESP32-S2, it says that it works from 3V to 6V. Is there a real difference between this two boards ?
Thanks.

The power sections of the two boards is identical. A LiPo should work fine.
