How to connect to raspberry pi
I'm new to Adafruit and I wanted to know if there's a way to connect the Joy FeatherWing to a Raspberry Pi 4 without using the Feather board. I tried connecting the SDA and SCL pins, as well as the 3.3V pin on the Raspberry Pi, but when I tried to run the code from the example Adafruit library, the Raspberry Pi didn't detect anything. Please help!

Re: How to connect to raspberry pi
First off, what example code are you running, did the pi see any i2c connection and have you tried scanning for i2c?

Re: How to connect to raspberry pi
Yes, enable I2C and install the i2c-tools, then scan the I2C bus. However, I noticed that my Joy FeatherWing is not on since the LED light is not flashing. Do I need the Feather board to power it, or can I use the Raspberry Pi 3 to power it? I'm following the example in https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Ci ... herwing.py

The FeatherWing will need power.

I am delivering power to the featherwing as the diagram recommended, but it's not turning on
