Feather M0 with RFM95 LoRa product id 3178
I'm having difficulty getting the Arduino IDE to see my COM port.
In Boards Manager I have selected Adafruit Feather M0 (SAMD21).
In Preferences Additional Board Manager URLs, I specified https://adafruit.github.io/arduino-boar ... index.json.
I am using a green USB2 port (not USB3 and not a keyboard USB) with Charge cable.
I double clicked the Feather reset button (LED blinking slows) while the verbose PORTS messages were displaying. Finally, the message "Uploading using selected port: COM1. ...
No device found on COM1.
I placed the line "while (!Serial);" as the first line in void setup() section of my sketch.
I have searched this topic on this forum and tried many tips. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: IDE cannot see my COM port on Feather M0 LoRa
Problem Solved. I traced the problem to my USB cable which had a faulty or missing data line. It provided power but no data. Using a different cable solved the problem. I hope this helps someone else in the future. Your cable must provide data AND charge.
