The MP3 files are all downloaded files from the internet. One of them has some pretty 'crackly'/'static-y' sections. It sounds fine on my computer.
I have Audacity installed. Should I just 'normalize' the audio, or are there recommended specs that I could convert it to? The only spec I see is that the bit rate is 124 kbps, which is probably overkill for this project, and possibly the mono amp and/or speaker as well.
Thanks.

Are there recommended settings for MP3 files? Should I use WAV format instead? Should I convert to mono instead of stereo, etc.?

Never mind. Played around with several different settings in Audacity and think I finally found a solution. Thanks.
