Hi Adafruit,
I'm thrilled to see MX-Compatible Keycap Molds being sold by Adafruit now. I was wondering if some additional molds could be made available for ortholinear keyboard users. Ortholinear kits are rare, and as a result of that, they are often excessively expensive. The ability to make our own would be a game changer. For that, I'd like to request a additional couple keycap Molds.
1. A smaller variation of the spacebar kit for convex 1U and 2U spacebar keycaps.
2. 1U molds for rows 1-4, and possible 5x 1U row 4 (bottom row).
Ortholinear keycaps are rare because they often do not pass the interest check phase of keycap group buys. Even when they do, they sometimes fall short of the minimum order quantity (MOQ). This problem is exacerbated when the small number of buyers are split among multiple group buys. It could be solved by offering molds, which allow one to make keycaps for all colorways they can think of.
I'd also love to see a mold for ErgoDox modifier keys, but ortholinear would be a great start. Homing keys would be nice as well.
