Hi!
I got a Gemma M0 recently but it won't start at all. I plugged in my MacBook but it's not seen by the Arduino IDE and the red LED (GPIO#13) doesn't start (no light, no blink, nothing even when the switch is ON).
I'm starting to think it's broken in which case I will contact Adafruit support because I just opened it...

Double check that you are using a data cable, and not a power/charge-only cable.

Hi,
Did you check with different USB cables ? If you have a USB-C/micro-USB cable or adapter, check it in both orientations of the USBC connector.
If it's powered, there should be some demo running when you plug it in. Does something happen if you click or double-click the reset button ?
If you have a multimeter, can you check the voltage between the GND and 3V pads ? (When on)

Thanks for your answers!
I use the same cable for the other controller so it's a data-cable for sure. What bother me is that nothing happens on the board, normally I should have the red led indicating that power is given no?
Nothing happens even if I click, double-click, triple-click the reset button

As neradoc suggests, try measuring the voltage between the 3.3v and ground pads. If you get 3.3v it will confirm that the regulator is working and the board has power.

Re: Gemma M0 don't start or boot
Sorry for the late response, I didn't have a multimeter available...
So I do have 3.3V on the 3.3v pad. But still not recognised and no red LED is turned on or blinking
