Help me buy The Ice Tube clock PCB - v 1.1

Post by viatr0nic »

Hi,

I need a bit of help:

I have all the parts to build The Ice Tube Clock (even the case) but I need a good quality PCB, Adafrut doesn't sell them anymore  :

https://www.adafruit.com/products/195

It seems that I can't be helped by Adafruit. :(

If someone can sell me a good PCB + shipping in Europe I would be forever grateful .

Maybe there are others that have the same issue,

Thank you!

Good work there.

I have the same problem. I would really like two ICE-Tube Clock PCBs and one Monochron PCB.
It is not possible to make these at home, you need plated holes at least for the MAX IC.

Can anyone help me?

I'm also located Europe.

I am also very interested to get a set of those Ice Tube clock PCBs. I have all the other parts. I am located in Finland.

Thanks a lot if someone can help me! :)

If anyone has a spare PCB, I'd be interesting in purchasing it.

OSH Park has an excellent service for small orders of small boards. So if no one on the forum has a spare to sell you, that's one option. I've used the service several times while revising the Adafruit design.

In fact, if you're interested in making an Ice Tube Clock from scratch, it might be worth checking out my hardware revision (project summary and Adafruit thread). The documentation is pretty good, and I do answer questions through email or, preferably, this forum. If you're interested, I might even have a spare board and case parts somewhere...

I don't have any spares laying around right now, or I would send you one, I did place a slightly modified main board and a tube board on OSH Park.
These are based on the boards by Adafruit. The main board can accommodate either a transistor/resistor combination or a FET for Q3.
Edit: The tube board is just basically the Adafruit tube board removed from the main board so it can be ordered separately.
