Re: spokePOV non connection
Hi,
I recently bought a pack of 3 SpokePOVs. For now I only have soldered and assembled two of them.
When I got the first one together, it was communicating fine with my computer via the USB dongle and it was working fine on my bike.
The next day, I soldered and assembled the second spokePOV together. When I plugged everything to my computer, the first spokePOV had a communication issue similar to yours. However, it still works when I put it on my bike. The second one is communicating and working fine.
After swapping EEPROMs and chips around, after re-doing all the solder points of the micro-controller , EEPROM and serial connector, I came to the conclusion that this is either a solder / corrosion issue that I'm not seeing or that I somehow damaged a capacitor or the hall sensor.
I'll try to keep you updated.
