I'm going to be using the ybox2 to make a network health monitor for my desk, Does anyone know of a decent place to get LCDs for this purpose? I did a quick search on ebay for a PSone LCD and they are getting expensive. There has to be something cheap that i'm overlooking.
Any suggestions?

This is great, thank you niksun.
Is it trivial to hook digital LCDs like these ones up to the ybox? I'm new to the parrallax chips.

For yBox you want an LCD monitor with standard composite video input, right?

A number of little media player picture frames I've played with over the last few years have composite inputs, if you are looking for something small in size. As those seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper, I'd expect you can even find the older ones cheap on places like Geeks.com and whatnot, eventually.

Not super cheap by any means, but its a starting point. I'm going to be lurking on e-bay for the next little while looking for a good deal, Thanks for the input guys!

Re: Small Cheap Crappy LCDs
Many "portable BANNED players" have the ability to be used as a video monitor as well. I see some NEW 7inch screen players on Amazon for about $80. Also, when these break, it tends to be the mechanicals in the BANNED player that break; I plucked such a unit out of our eWaste bin that works fine as monitor (but dosn't play DVDs at all.) Car BANNED players can come with multiple screens and may be another source of monitors...

Ah, yes, that's true. I have two identical USLogic brand players that were tossed for the fact they won't play anymore, and I use them as monitors for my videocamera, instead of it's tiny little eyepiece.

These are fairly cheap, if you don't mind small.

Thanks for the links Middlerun! I've just purchased the EP-130NP. I'm going to take some pictures of it hooked up to my Ybox when it comes. (Built in speaker too.. Wewt!)

Re: Small Cheap Crappy LCDs
Cool, I'll be interested to know how that turns out. I've still not got a good screen for my YBox2. I've been trying to find an old portable BANNED player that doesn't read discs, which I can re-purpose into a YBox2 monitor. I bought one and I was modifying it and when I was almost finished it stopped working. Maybe I killed an IC with static or something. Had to throw it away.

You should look at Brilldea.com...
Re: Small Cheap Crappy LCDs
That Brilldea LCD looks like it will go great with a Chumby hacker board too! It seems that this person (who seems to be from the Parallax forums) is selling them in 16:9 format: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?t=119217
